As always, I'm in love with this city that I do not live in, obsessed with learning as much as I can, memorizing street names and bars with good martinis, trying to guess who's local and who's not.
Shari made the long drive down from bufu so the three of us could celebrate Vahid's birthday and celebrate we did. A full recap coming later this week after I have internet fast enough to find the sites for all the awesome places we went. Yeah, I'm getting pretty slow internet at my hotel right now and I can't really talk about it because I just don't have that kind of patience. Argh. (Last night's post was from my ipod because I couldn't get my blog to load enough to post at the hotel.)

You are even more fun in person than the internets can portray, and everyone who hasn't gotten to drink with you is a poor wretch, whether they know it or not. SO worth the drive from bufu! I'm going to download photos today... I think.
