Oh, Oregon.
Do you guys see those mountains? They are breath-taking as in taking my breath away. This whole place is, every single bit of it from the pleasant rental car lady to the fireplace in the hotel lobby to the hotel bed the size of the universe to the free wireless internet everywhere to the mountains. Did I mention the mountains?
I'm in Bend right now for a work thing. I've never been to Bend before, and um, I probably shouldn't have come because I might never leave. It's perfect in all the ways including having a Target and a Trader Joe's. Also, the Trader Joe's is approximately three or four times the size of the TJ's at my house and that is not an exaggeration. This one is like the size of an actual grocery store! There are more and different things! And since my awesome hotel room has a fridge and a microwave, we all know how I'm spending my food per diem!
(Shout out to the Holiday Inn Express Bend. I LOVE you.)
But the best part so far about Bend is the really, really hot guys. I mean there are guys in vests, everywhere. There are guys in thermals with knitted hats everywhere. They have Oregon scruff and worn jeans and... I'm going to need a minute.
Like I said. Breath taking.

I hadn't included it in the original itinerary, but I can definitely point you in the direction of Portland's multiple Trader Joe's as well. :)
See you tonight!

Speaking of vest, I almost purchased a "vintage" one that had a big "Eskimo Pie" patch on the left side.
I'm obviously in the "stocking stuffer" mode.
