My strategy is to win.
The google docs to do list I wrote before leaving my office Wednesday evening:
-do my taxes (find old pdfs on desktop)
-contribute two responses to online class discussion
-do reading for online class and fill out study guide
-watch American Idol and America's Next Top Model (so patriotic!)
-finish Traveling Pants
-write blog post
-TV audit
-go to bed early
Five hours later I have accomplished:
-taxes: federal and state which means in 8 to 12 days I will be $900 richer!
-posted two responses to online class discussion (Responses were totally weak sauce. So weak sauce that I am too embarrassed to paste them here. Let's just say I used the phrase "making great strides" more than once.)
-watched America's Next Top Model (Team Go See's? Best idea ever.)
-watched American Idol results show and felt emotional because that show and that host totally gets to me, apparently.
-watched Top Chef so I could avoid my to do list
-watched a lot of Real Housewives of NYC and Top Chef reruns because it was on and I had only seen the episodes once before!
-chided myself for watching too much TV instead of doing a TV audit
-"wrote" this blog post
Side note: Amanda recently commented that my listing bullets were offensively inconsistent. I know; I suck.
Comments
Dude, I totally got emotional over the show tonight too. I think Ryan Seacrest is pretty adorable (don't tell anyone).

Oh, Abigail. Oh, Cate. When SeacrestBot takes over the world I will miss you both so much.

Huzzah for consistency! Though I think you pointed out that lists were still posts, whereas nothing was still posting nothing. I withdrew.
I do not like American Idol. At. All.
