November 1
Yes, I changed the name of my blog. More on that later. Heather Anne made the kick ass banner. Seriously, I can't stop staring at how kick ass it is. She is brilliant. She created it with like zero time notice and with a request that went something like this, "Dear Heather, please save me from myself. Love, Abigail."
This overall change comes at a perfect time as I will be participating in National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo). That acronym is way, way, way too hard for me to remember, so while I keep my commitment to blog everyday in November I will be calling it MoFo. Because that is how I will feel come tomorrow when I have nothing (NOTHING) to say on the internet. And also, even if I did have something to say, my current computer situation isn't ideal for daily blogging. But whatever, I need to win some prizes. (And a big welcome to any visitors here via The Randomizer.)
I changed the name of my blog because it turns out that I hate hate HATE what it used to be called (My Life According to Me). I didn't realize I hated it so much until recently when I was hanging out with a bunch of other bloggers (who I would totally link to if I wasn't the lazy, worthless bloggers that I am. Besides it was a month ago so I'm already unredeemable for never writing about it. What IS that? I need help). So I was hanging out with these bloggers and I don't know if you guys do this, but whenever referring to another blogger with us, we'd say, par example, "You know, AbigailMyLifeAccordingtoMe." Which is EXACTLY how I refer to other bloggers as well. If it's not one long word, it's a word with only a small punctuation mark inside: "You know, Leah?Leahpeah." So, after hearing it about sixty times, I was filled with so much cringe (even worse than listen to voicemails that I've left for other people) that I decided to MAKE A CHANGE. If that's not growth, I don't know what is.
My Life According to Me was the name of my first blog in 2002 and I couldn't tell you why I named it that. Because it was self-explanatory? Because I was 18? Both probable. But I moved to this domain two years ago and I have thing about URLs. I don't like it when they don't match up to the blog name. That's just one of my crazy attributes. So, this fits perfectly. And it's good branding.
Leave a comment telling Heather how awesome she is.

I think you're both awesome. Also, I think I say awesome too much.
I think you're awesome. And if saying awesome is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Final stats:
9 out of 13 women liked Private Practice.
7 out of the 9 liked it better than Grey's.
So, you know, well done, you.

Neophyte is fun to say.
But hard to spell.

I love the new banner and I like the nickname for the nickname for the event. mofo. Excellent. I wonder why people don't say "mofu?" Wouldn't that make more sense from a spelling perspective? Or "mofuh" if we're being phonetic? Or maybe, just maybe, I've always mispronounced the F word. Hmmm...
Hello, Abigail.
I can remembering seeing MoFo for the first time in high school and not be able to figure out what it stood for because the spelling didn't make sense. I was naive.
I like MoFuh!
Hello, Scott.

Good heavens, child. Your language! There might be some mouth soap in your future!
Good thing you live 2,000 miles away!
You did leave your soap at my house. And please, "MoFo" does not count as language. And also! Takes one to know one! AHA!

I love the redesign. So pretty and bright and simple. Way to go Heather Anne and way to go Abigail for recognizing such a good thing.
Let's have sushi soon so I can give you your birthday present.
This is a good plan.

Yes, Heather Anne is awesome. She's one of my favorite Heathers.
And Abigail? You hung out with a bunch of bloggers a month ago? That's nice. How did it go? I hope none of them forced you to shop for hours and watch her try on dresses, because that would SUCK. ;-)
Hello, HeatherBNoPasaNada. We should go shopping (or drinking) again in San Diego in November.

Heather Anne you are awesome.
Abigail, so I guess you expect us to change our links to you lest you cringe there. Consider it done (next time I log in)
"NaBlo......Mo...no...PoMo!"
Been out of the blogosphere, but back for a bit. Last year's promise to keep.
Yay! I'm so glad you're participating. Heather Anne is awesome.
