A bath mat made of wood! That sounds crazy! Wood is made to absorb water and then quickly evaporate--unlike the traditional cloth mat which gets dirty and moist. Ew.
(Canoe also has a version with thinner planks but I drip a lot of water and it looked a little less surface-protecting.)
