Friday Question Day

Q: Hey, Abs, what's your favorite holiday?

A: St. Patrick's Day

because:

1. Green is my favorite color.

2. I have some traces of Ireland in my blood. I have traces of every other country too, but they don't have holidays.

3. My mom always gave us lectures about how we really shouldn't be celebrating all the green since we orange-irish. Now, I can celebrate whatever I want.

4. I had myself a good Catholic education so I love all the green.

5. Green is my favorite color.

6. I love nicknames. (Yeah, you're going to have to call me O'Schilling all day today.)

7. The gear:
Celebrating in Target's Dollar Isle

How are you celebrating today?

Comments

first!

I'm celebrating my Welsh and Scottish roots by wearing a green apron today. For nine (9) hours.
~
I drink to your health when I'm with you,
I drink to your health when I'm alone,
I drink to your health so often,
I'm starting to worry about my own!

You can bet with the last name of Keefe, there's beer on my itinerary today. Doesn't even have to be green either. I don't want those pale ales to feel left out.

*looks down sadly*
I forgot. No one told me. Not one of my Australian friends. And I bet they went and celebrated, as usual. Leaving me behind...

So much for the huge Guiness mug that I am a proud owner of.

*sulks in the corner*

THIS IS YOUR MOTHER SPEAKING.

I'm with Matt, I'm going to celebrate by wearing a green apron all night AND a green t-shirt (you forgot that one ol'Matty, it's Friday, where your T)...

But, after that, I think I'll celebrate by changing my name to McGrath next week!

And, I think I'll find some green frosting on white cake somewhere - 1/2 price at 10!

BTW, call your Orange-Irish grandmother at Herb's and wish her a happy St. Pat's day. She'll get a good chuckle.

That would be *O'Matty and *wear

O'Schilling, I've decided to celebrate St. Patrick's Day today as it is TODAY in the US. =) There's always a way out. Always. =P

O'Chhikara

(that sounds Irish too, think : O'Hara)

O'mfg.
