Sometimes, I think it might be okay to relive the past. At least for a weekend.
Regularly scheduled blogging has been hard lately. Between doing nothing on the couch and drinking Starbucks all live long day I haven't even checked my tracker every 20 minutes. In fact, for an entire afternoon my laptop was fused to someone else's lap.
Yeah, you heard me, I was DETACHED FROM MY LAPTOP.
Medical marvel? I think so.
In addition to attending a college basketball game last night, I stayed up way past my bed time three nights in a row, and broke into a campus construction site. Yeah, we took pictures from the roof.
I realized how few regrets I have about my college experience this weekend. I lived in the dorms long enough to get tired of it and moved out without missing it. I worked hard and played hard. I got away with a lot.
And I learned so much.
It was strange, though, to relive so much of it. To see people I don't normally see and to transition back into something--for at least a few days--that was so long ago tucked far away.
"I can see how if this was your life you really wouldn't get anything done," Heather said.
I'm still pretty dirty from the construction site and I'm going to be really tired all week.

Did I ever tell you about exploring construction sites at night in China? And throwing things? Actually this feels like blog post material ... coming soon ...
Also have you heard of the Weakerthans? Because they're a good band and one CD is called "Reconstruction Site".

Hey, I'm Jessica--Sally pointed you out to me--You're delightful!
I lived in the dorms for two years...I feel the same way you do. Sometimes I drive by and look at the campus...it's weird. But it wasn't very long ago for me, so the effect is maybe different.
Anyway, hello! I have to go to work right now, or else I would talk more...

Did you steal a sign from the construction site? Souveniering is a big thing here. If there is a party, and a construction site around...
I myself haven't participated in such despicable activities, but have received a couple signs once the parties are in full swing...
I like the pics (in the previous post too), by the way!
