Dear Void
Is it sad that I'm waiting up until midnight so I can see direct deposit hit?

No. In fact, I think you should post again when it does.

Did it hit? Did you finally get some sleep?
Also, did you know today is Friday the 13th? I am scared to leave the house.

The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia, paraskevidekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia, a specialized form of triskaidekaphobia, a phobia (fear) of the number thirteen.

Actually, you know what I think is more sad: that I had to wait up til midnight.

I think it's sad that you consider yourself "staying up" til midnight. But "staying up" to watch money come in is not sad whatsoever.

I had the same idea, of waiting to see my paycheck hit... but I couldn't make it.
So I humbly admit that I am "lame-er," if you will.

That option isn't available with my banking (read theives) institution until 3:00 freakin' a.m. CST. No way will I wait up - or get up then.
